If you are in Europe then you don't need introduction about SQLBits- a popular conference for SQL Server users in Europe. This time SQLBits goes west which is the fifth from the series. SQLBits Hotel price reduction

If you've been considering going to SQLBits and looked at hotel prices for teh Celtic Manor. You might have found the Thursday or Friday night cheaper using laterooms etc. The Hotel have kindly agreed to match the price on these sites as long as tehy have allocation left. Whats more if you've already booked and said you are coming to SQLBits then your room price should have been reduced. Many people believe that if they go ahead and implement a Business Intelligence solution they will suddenly have an intelligent business that will tell them how it is operating and what they need to do. Customers they need contacting will be flagged, orders that are likely to be late are notified so as to keep the customers happy, and the boss is alerted as to the reason profits have fallen from 15% to 10%.
