This morning when I tried to connect to my local SQL Server 2008 R2 instance, it was failing constantly with the error on subject line when I'm trying to START the MSSQLServer service. I have around 4 SQL Server service running on this laptop and checked that all the other SQL instance are also stopped including this SQL2k8R2 instance.
